The International Conference on Environmental Science and Technology (CEST2017) will be held in Rhodes Island (Greece), from 31 August to 2 September 2017.

CEST2017 is the 15th event in a series of successful scientific meetings, which are being organized biennially since 1989. It is the largest environmental conference in Greece and has grown into in a major international scientific event bringing together over 400 delegates from 60 different countries.

The main aim of the conference is the presentation of innovative technologies and practices to address local and international key environmental issues. Moreover, environmental legislation issues are presented and proposals that could form the basis for dialogue on national policy in areas such as waste management, climate change, sustainable tourism, the monitoring of water quality, energy technologies and public health. A selection of topics for which the Scientific and Programme Committee is particularly seeking contributions can be found here.

Distinguished academic professionals and scientists will participate as invited and keynote speakers. The list of speakers is available here and will be updated regularly.

For the first time in CEST history four presentations from young researchers (2 oral and 2 poster) will be awarded from CEST Scientific Committee. The researchers (postgraduate students and PhD candidates) should indicate their candidacy along with the submission of the abstract.

CEST2017 is supported by the University of the Aegean (Greece), together with the University of Salerno (Italy) and the Imperial College London (UK). The main organizer is the multi-disciplinary Global NEST (Network of Environmental Science and Technology); an international scientific movement that has been successfully developing for the last 29 years with members from more than 60 countries. The conference is held under the auspices of the Municipality of Rhodes (Greece).

More info as well as registration and submission of paper are available at http://cest.gnest.org. The abstract submission deadline is the 31st December 2016.
