One of the fundamental cultural activities of the University of the Aegean is the establishment of "Cultural week". This week is shared by all Departments of the University, takes place in a different University Unit (that is, on a different island), lasts 5 days every year and is under the auspices of the University. These activities include sports (i.e. football matches, basketball games etc) and cultural happenings (i.e. theatrical plays, music, dances etc).
