	Welcome to the WebDANCE website your contact point to the WebDANCE project! WebDANCE involves the study of traditional dance teaching in secondary education and the development of appropriate e-learning tools to be used by teachers and students. One of the main innovations of WebDANCE is the development of Web3D e-Learning environment visualising dance learning material in interactive, 'virtual' environments, making the learning process intuitive and more motivating. A number of usefull teacher resources are available at the site's Demos & Downloads section. In addition in this site teachers and students will find information about traditional dance in Europe and the use of ICT in the context of dance education.

	Interested in creating your own dance e-lessons? Join the OpenDance web community of users and download the OpenDance Lesson Management Application. Registration if free gives you access to more e-lessons authored by members of the OD web community. It also gives you access to an entertaining role-playing game featuring 3D virtual dancers and a lot more!
	The OpenDance project has started The objective of OpenDance is to build upon the technological results and the experience gained through WebDance in order to (a) extend the usability of the web-learning environment (b) increase the teaching resources offered the (c) expand the number and type of users of the web platform.
