Activities under the Greek EU Presidency


The bi-annual European Platform for Biodiversity Research Strategy (EPBRS) meetings are hosted by the country that holds the EU presidency. The EU Presidency team webmaster has prepared this website for the benefit of EPBRS nominees who will attend the next meeting of the EPBRS, which will take place under the Presidency of Greece.

The European Platform for Biodiversity Research Strategy is a forum for scientists and policy makers to ensure that research contributes to the development of sound and effective policies to halt the loss of biodiversity by 2010.
  


The Meeting includes:

Both the field excursion and the policy-oriented discussions are limited to the official delegates from the States participating in the EU Framework RTD Programme,  the members of BioPlatform and the invitees.


The Electronic Conference on “Biotic Resources in a Changing World” will start on Monday 31st March 2003 and last till Wednesday 23rd April 2003.
